Interior architecture and design services for a 150,000 SF project including 18,000 SF of Class A office with a engineered clean room area, and the ability to grow and scale an additional 50,000 SF in the future. The facilities manufactruing area will be fully air condiditoned and equipped with overhead cranes as well as thick cement flooring to accomodate the company’s array of specialized machinery. Ware Malcomb also worked to ensure the structure will have the correct roof load and electrical infrastructure to accomodate solar panel installation. The facility will include multiple coffee bars, lounge rooms, game room, wellness and a large break room on the main floor that will represent a main hub for all-hands gatherings. Amenities such as fridges, freezers, microwaves, ice machines and water filling stations are thoughtfully placed throughout the office to provide additional employee convenience.

The project includes 30,000 SF of office and 140,000 SF of warehouse and manufacturing space. The office areas are designed to reflect the company culture and double as a showroom where customers can experience the company’s vast array of luxury door systems and windows in real-life settings. To maximize productivity, an expanded manufacturing area features state of the art CNCs and saws, additional loading docks, and an updated cooling system.

Architecture and interior design services for Fratelli Beretta’s new 190,300 SF U.S. headquarters and production facility, as well as a 30,000 SF expansion.

The build-to-suit facility includes office, residential space for executives and visiting guests, production, and storage. The interior of the offices, residences, and tasting room are designed with an Italian-influenced modern aesthetic consisting of polished concrete, white walls, white built-in storage furniture, Italian furnishings and full height glazed windows and doors.

The facility was constructed box-in-box with insulated pre-cast wall panel façade and interior insulated metal panel walls and ceilings. Fratelli Beretta processes specialty Italian meat products such as salami, sopressata, mortadella and prosciutto.

Interior architecture and design services for a 40,500 SF tenant improvement, including the addition of 12,500 SF of new second floor structure and improvement of 28,000 SF of existing first floor area. These improved areas include new private and open office, break rooms, conferencing/meeting rooms, restrooms, mechanical spaces, elevator, SCIF area and other ancillary spaces. Service upgrades and specification of building equipment to support both phases of this project include a central mechanical plant, new electrical building service and main waste lines.

Interior architecture and design services for Suntech’s first manufacturing facility in the United States. Suntech is the world’s largest manufacturer of silicon solar modules. The new 117,000 SF facility features the latest technology in manufacturing and testing equipment for photovoltaic panels. It includes branded guest reception area and a touring skywalk overlooking the manufacturing process area. This innovative module production facility has an initial 30 megawatt of annual capacity and employs more than 75 operators, engineers and professionals.

Architecture, civil engineering, and interior architecture and design services for a 150,000 SF manufacturing facility for a client in the alternative energy sector who produces transformers that convert solar energy to standard electrical power. Ware Malcomb completed space planning with intense collaboration with the company based in Germany. The process produced a 30,000 SF office space plan that met the client’s needs and was approved in one week’s time. The building design relative to an adjacent site was designed to accommodate the client’s anticipated growth up to a potential capacity of 500,000 SF.

Architectural and interior design services for a 205,000 SF 4-story corporate headquarters build to suit office and manufacturing facility for Microvention Terumo, a medical device manufacturer. The contemporary building design features a curved aluminum panel curtain wall and clear grey glazing with large exterior patio spaces. Included in the design are 40,000 SF of clean room, 30,000 SF of laboratory, 35,000 SF of warehouse and distribution including two dock areas and an equipment yard with hazardous material storage, 10,000 SF machine shop, 3,500 SF employee lunch room, extensive training and conference facilities. The site design includes a design build parking structure, bio-swale and tree well integration, and extensive drought tolerant landscaping. The four-story building is a moment-framed structural steel, with a cast-in-place partial basement, curtain walls, and a single-ply roof. The project also included the construction of a four-story, post-tension concrete parking garage with 822 stalls and two elevators.
