Ware Malcomb is providing architecture services for a 310,000 SF data center on a 15-acre site. The two-story building will feature a 2-acre customer substation. Framed by expansive wood-look siding, the office section extends beyond the primary envelope, showcasing a striking volume of glass. This is surrounded by vertically oriented concrete to juxtapose the horizontally oriented concrete of the data center portion of the building. The data center was conceptualized as a tier 3 n+1 redundant colocation facility with flexibility to be dedicated to a single user.
